Best Warm Places to Visit in the Winter

Are you tired of the winter chill and craving sunshine? You don’t have to wait until summer to enjoy a warm getaway. From vibrant cities to serene beaches, these warm places offer an escape from the cold winter months.

Namibia, Southwest Africa

During the winter months, Namibia is an exceptional place to check out. This gem nestled in southern Africa offers desert landscapes, breathtaking sand dunes and rich wildlife. The temperatures are also very comfortable, ranging between 59 and 68 degrees. If you want to escape to temperatures that range between 72 and 95 degrees, Costa Rica is right for you. There are plenty of places to stay with a view of lush greenery of the jungle, if that’s your desire.  If you’re looking for beaches, look no further than Nosara and Santa Teresa. If adventure is more your thing, check out the Monteverde Cloud Forest and the zip-lining that it offers. If you’re lucky, you’ll even get a visit from some capuchin monkeys or sloths in their natural habitat. [1]

Escape the winter chill and bask in the warm temperatures of the Maldives. Ranging from 77 to 88 degrees, it’s the perfect place to bask in the sun. The Maldives is a collection of more than 1,000 islands, with luxurious villas and bungalows scattered across. Dubai, United Arab Emirates

If you’re craving warmer temps that rarely pass 90 degrees, Dubai is an option in the winter months. There are plenty of resorts at reasonable prices offering an array of services.  There’s plenty to do in Dubai, including taking a dip in the Persian Gulf, shopping in some of the world’s most luxurious stores, dining at Michelin-starred restaurants, and visiting the tallest building in the world. If temperatures in the 60s and 70s seem like the dream to you during the winter months, explore Bermuda. The turquoise waters, pink beaches and quaint villages will charm you while you’re escaping the cold. The beach resorts often offer stunning views, luxurious amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. Thailand

Looking for a tropical getaway where temperatures are above 90 degrees even in the winter months? Trade your boots for sandals and check out Thailand. The States

There are many places in the U.S. you can visit to escape the cold without leaving the country. If Florida is your getaway destination, you can expect the weather to be in the 60s and 70s. Top spots to visit include Sarasota, Siesta Beach and Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden.
